Nov 8     NotreDame vs Eden

Wow, I am not sure I saw this coming. The first and second periods were reasonable with Notre Dame up 2-1 after 2 and then the wheels fell off the bus in the third period as we took it on the chin 8-1. The hightlight of the game was Alanna Dueck notching her first goal of the season.

Nov 15     Dennis Morris vs Eden

Congratulations to the members of the first team on their regular season opening victory over DM yesterday by a score of 2-1. Your goal scorers were Maddy Yule and Maegan Wall.

Nov 16     Eden vs Holy Cross

Congratulations to the members of the first team on a solid 4-1 victory over Holy Cross yesterday at the Virgil Arena. Maegan Wall had a pair with singles going to Raven Desouza and Melanie Birdsall. Wiens was solid between the pipes almost earning her first shutout of the season.

Nov 17     Eden at McDonald's Tournament

Congratulations to the members of the first team on a strong showing in the A flight of the McDonald's Tournament in Niagara Falls yesterday. Your lady flyers won 2 out of 3 games in round robin play to advance to the final in which they lost a close, well played game against E. L. Crossely by a score of 2-1. Earlier in the day, we lost 6-1 to NotreDame, won 3-2 over Crossley and won 3-1 over Lakeshore Catholic. Reminder that our next game is Tuesday at home against Blessed Trinity.

Nov 22     Blessed Trinity vs Eden

Congratulations to the members of the first team on a lopsided 8-1 victory over Blessed Trinity yesterday. Wall, Neufeld, and Charlie Keracher had 2 each and Carly White and Leanne Lof had singles.

Nov 30     Eden vs Blessed Trinity

Congratulations to the members of the first team on an exciting 7-4 victory over Blessed Trinity in Grimsby featuring the debut of Ashley Waugh between the pipes. Meagan Wall had 3, Melanie Birdsall had a pair and Leanne Lof and Charlie Keracher each had singles.

Dec 6-7 -    Blessed Trinity Tournament in Grimsby at PeachKing Arena

Great effort from your lady flyers at the Blessed Trinity Tournament in Grimsby although we did drop all 3 close games. We played 3 Quad A schools from Ancaster and Burlington losing 3-1 twice and 4-0 in the other. Maegan Wall and Bridgette Neufeld scored our 2 goals.

Dec 8     Eden vs Sir Winston Churchill

Congratulations to the members of the first team on a 6-1 victory over Sir Winston Churchill at home. Meagan Wall had a pair, Melanie Birdsall, Raven Superstar, Carly White, and Alanna Dueck each had singles to round out the scoring.

Dec 13    St. Francis vs Eden

Congratulations to the members of the first team on their 4-0 victory over St. Francis yesterday at home. Your goal scorers were Meagan Wall with a pair and singles by Charlie Keracher and Leanne Lof. Mackenzie Wiens earned her first shut-out of the season.

Dec 20     Holy Cross vs Eden

Yesterday afternoon your lady flyers remained undefeated beating Holy Cross 3-2 on goals by Maegan Wall, Bridgette Neufeld and Ashley Waugh.

Dec 21     Eden vs Dennis Morris

Congratulations to the members of the first team on a 7-0 victory over DM yesterday at the Merritton Arena. Taylor Keracher had the hat trick and Meagan Wall had a pair with singles to Ashley Waugh and Melanie Birdsall. Mackenzie Wiens earned her second shutout of the season as your lady flyers remain without a loss in the regular season play with a record of 8-0.

Jan 12     Eden vs St. Francis

Congratulations to the members of the first team, wearing their spiffy new white jerseys, on a solid 5-3 victory over St. Francis to remain undefeated in league play with a record of 9-0.Maegan Wall and Raven Desouza had a pair and Taylor Keracher had a single on a lovely tipped shot.

Jan 16     Eden vs Sir Winston

Congratulations to the members of the first team on finished with a perfect 10-0 regular season with a victory over Sir Winston yesterday by a score of 3-0. The Keracher sisters each notched a goal and Ashley Waugh sniped a single. Mackenzie Wiens earned her fifth shutout of the season.
