a 16 team tournament. In Pool play Eden
won their three matches to finish first in their
pool. In the quarter-finals Eden won the match to advance
to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals Eden was defeated
by Sir Winston Churchill.

Eden
hosted a 9
team tournament. In pool play Eden defeated E. L.
Crossley 25- 8 and 25- 22, Saltfleet from Stoney Creek
25-9 and
25-15 to finish first in their pool. Teams were then re-pooled
into new divisions. Here Eden defeated Westlane 25 to 11
and 25 to 12 but split games with Sir Winston Churchill
25 to 22 and 17 to 25 to finish second in their pool.
In the quarter-finals Eden defeated E. L. Crossley
25 - 19; 17 - 25 and 15 - 8. In the semi-finals
Eden defeated Governor Simcoe 25 - 17; 16 - 25 and 15-
6. In the finals Eden took on Sir Winston Churchill and
were defeated

- 25 and 13 - 25 to capture the Silver Medal.

play-off round Eden won their first two matches to
advance to the finals. Here they took on a strong Stratford
Central team and were defeated
in a close match.

Eden
took part in a
10 team tournament. In Pool play Eden defeted Notre
Dame, Denis Morris, Thorold and Governor Simcoe to finish
first in their pool. In the play-off round Eden defeated
E. L. Crossley to advance to the finals. Here they took
on Governor Simcoe and defeated them 2 games to 0 to
capture the Gold Medal.

In the semi-finals
Eden defeated Woodland 25 - 22 and 25 - 13. In the
finals Eden took on a very good Oakridge team from London.
Eden played well but were defeated 14 - 25 and
24 -
26 to capture
the
Silver
Medal.
