University Senior Girls Volleyball Tournament
Eden took
part in 15 team tournament at McMaster University. In pool
play Eden defeated Hamilton Christian 25 - 13 and 25 -
15; T. A. Blakelock 25 - 16 and 25 - 15; Albert Campbell
25 - 12 and 25 - 14
and St. David 25 - 16 and 25 - 13 to finish first
in their pool. In the semi-finals
Eden took on Ingersol and defeated them 25 - 7 and
25 - 15. In the finals Eden took on West Park and defeated
them 25 to 16 and 25 to 19 to capture the Gold Medal.

games to 0; Scores were 25-5; 25-10; 25-19.

2 Christ
the King Senior
Girls Volleyball Tournament
Eden took
part in 14 team tournament at Christ the King C. S. S.
in Georgetown. In pool play Eden defeated St. Mary's from
Cobourg 25
- 19 and 25 -
22; Appleby College from Oakville 25 - 15 and 25 - 20;
Guelph Collegiate 25 - 17 and 25 - 10; and
split games with Notre Dame from Oakville 25 - 17 and 23
- 25 to finish tied for second with two other teams but
as a result in the tie breaking procedure Eden finished
fourth in their pool. In
the quarterfinals
Eden
took on Westside from Orangeville and defeated
them

- 21. In the semi-finals Eden took on the host school Christ
the King and defeated them 25 - 17 and 25 - 21 to advance
to the finals. In the finals Eden took on a very strong
Bishop Allen and were defeated

Girls Volleyball Tournament
Eden took
part in 12 team tournament at Mentor College in Mississauga.
In pool play Eden defeated West Ferris 25 - 14 and

5; Patrick Fogarty from Belleville 25 - 9 and 25 - 16;
Mentor College 25 - 10 and 25 - 16; Applewood 25 - 12 and
25 - 16; and split games with Robert Hall 25 - 10 and
19 - 25 to
finish first in their pool. In the semi-finals Eden took
on Glenforest and defeated them 25 - 12 and 25 - 8. In
the finals Eden took on Christ the King and defeated them
25 to 21
and 25 to 20 to capture the Gold Medal.

Volleyball Tournament
Eden
took part in 10 team tournament at A. N. Myer
in Niagara Falls. In pool play Eden defeated Denis
Morris 25 - 14 and 25 - 16; Port Colborne 25 - 8
and 25 - 14; St. Paul 25 - 10 and 25
- 15; and split games
with Stamford 25 - 9 and 23 - 25 to finish first
in their pool. In the semi-finals Eden took on Lakeshore
Catholic and defeated them 25 - 8 and 25 - 12. In
the finals Eden took on the host school A. N. Myer
and defeated them 25
to 11 and 25 to 17 to capture the Gold Medal.

Volleyball Tournament
Eden
hosted a 15 team tournament. In pool
play Eden defeated Westlane 25 - 9 and 25 -
15; Waterloo Oxford 25 - 11 and 25
- 9; Abby Park 25 - 22 and 25 - 10; and Bishop Ryan
25 - 22 and 25 - 18 to finish first in their pool.
In the semi-finals Eden took on Bishop Allen and
defeated them 25 - 19 and 25 - 18. In the finals
Eden took
on a strong Westmount team from Hamilton and lost
19 to 25 and 22 to 25 to
finish second and capture
the Silver Medal.

17 General
Amherst Senior
Girls Volleyball Tournament in Amherstburg
Eden
travelled to Amverstburg to take part in 12 team
tournament at General Amherst High School. In pool
play Eden split games with Ursuline College 27 -
25 and 16 -
25 and then lost their next match to General Amherst
18 - 25 and 18 - 25. Eden now needed to win their
next three matches to have any hope of making the
play-offs. Realizing this the girls came out with
determination and won their next matches defeating
Massey 25 - 12 and 25 - 16; John McGregor 25
- 18 and
25 - 18;
and
St. Joseph's 25 - 20 and 25 - 16 to finish second
in their pool. In the semi-finals Eden took on last
years Triple A Silver Medalist at OFSAA. Playing
their best games of the year Eden almost pulled off
the upset but lost 27 to 29 and 22 to 25 to Belle
river.

games to 0; Scores were 25-7; 25-16; 25-9.
Jan.
7 Brock
University Senior Girls Volleyball Tournament
Eden
took part in a 12 team
tournament at Brock University. In pool
play Eden defeated Niagara Christian College 25
- 9 and 25 - 9; Rick Hansen 25 - 10 and 25 -
13; ESPC 25 - 8 and 25 to 17 to finish first in their
pool. In the quarter-finals Eden took on Ridley
and defeated them 25 to 13 and 25 to 19. In the semi-finals
Eden took on North Park and came away with a 25 to
14 and 25 to 20 victory to advance to the finals.
In the finals Eden took on a strong Waterdown team.
Eden won the first game 25 to 17 but then lost the
next two games 16 to 25 and 12 to 15 to capture the
silver medal. Lindsay Baerg and Madi Taylor were
named to the all-star team.

Hespler Senior Girls Volleyball Tournament in Cambridge
Eden
took part in a 16 team tournament at Jacob Hespler
in Cambridge. In pool play Eden defeated Brantford
C.I. 25 - 9 and 25 - 7; and then split games with
Stratford Central 25 - 17 and 23 - 25 and with Jacob
Hespler 25 - 17 and 18 - 25 to finish second
in their pool. In the pre-quarters Eden took
on Westside
and
defeated them 25 - 15 and 25 - 14. In the quarter-finals
Eden took on General Amherst and defeated them 25
- 19; 23 - 25 and 15 - 9. In the semi-finals Eden
took on a strong Grand River team and came away
with a solid 25 -
23 and 25 - 18 victory to advance to the finals.
In the finals Eden met up with the host school Jacob
Hespler. In a well played match Eden went down to
defeat 22 - 25 and 23 - 25 to capture
the silver medal.

Senior Girls Volleyball Tournament
Eden
hosted a 10 team tournament. In pool
play Eden defeated Heritage 25 - 21 and 25 -
11; Durham Christian 25 - 6 and 25 - 13: Hillfield
Strathallan 25 - 13 and 25 - 7: Sherwood 25 - 10
and 25 - 19 to finish first in their pool. In the
semi-finals Eden
took on a strong Bill Crothers team and came away
with a hard fought victory 14 - 25; 25 - 21 and 16
- 14 to advance to the finals. Here
Eden on Ridley College and in a well played
match Eden came out on top with a 25 - 23 and 25
- 19 victory to capture
the Gold medal.

Hamilton
Eden
travelled to McMaster University and took part in
a 24 team tournament. In pool play Eden defeated
Loyola 25 - 17 and 25 - 22; Mayfield

- 17 and 25 - 23 and Brebeuf 25 - 22
and 25 - 20 to finish
first
in their pool. In the quarter-finals Eden took on
a very strong Grand River team and were defeated
in two games 25 - 19 and 25 - 23. Feb.
