SLC Updates--The First 25
Tomorrow will feature an Outpour Friday with a live student band! Bring some friends and join us as we worship together! We meet at 8:15am in the chapel which is located in the cafeteria!
Life Groups
Today, the Sr. Boys will be meeting for The Foundry at lunch in the SLC! Bring your lunch and come and reconnect! See you at lunch! Don’t forget to download the new SLC App on the App Store or Googleplay. Stay up to date by following us on instagram @slceden.
Photo Day
Photo day is Friday, September 5th. Although Friday’s will now be our Spirit Wear Day, we recommend you wear your Eden uniform for pictures. Students will be called out of class in groups corresponding to their grade, and first letter of their last name.
Cheerleading Tryouts
Information meeting today at lunch in Room 219. Please email Ms. van Wely with any questions.
Tennis
Reminder that senior practices/tryouts will start today and Friday at Linlake Park, weather permitting. Junior and Senior practices will continue next week. Please direct any questions to coaches Krall, Stickney and Zelic.
Field Hockey
Field Hockey tryouts will take place for Grade 9 & 10 students today after school. If you did not play last year, please sign up with Miss Morrison in Room 121 at lunch today. ALL GRADE 11/12 girls who are trying out need to check your emails ASAP and reply to the survey!
Boys Football
If you would like to sign-up for boys football, please scan the QR code outside of the gym office. Complete permission to participate form on School Cash Online. Please email Ms.Pavlovich if you have any questions.
Cross Country
There will be a quick information meeting at lunch this FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11th in room 237 for all Cross Country Athletes. No experience needed. Scan the QR code to sign up outside the PE office or room 237. Email Mrs. Kostesky if you have any questions.
Girls Flag Football
Girls Flag Football tryouts will begin next week outside on the turf field during lunch. Please complete the sign-up form in the phys ed hallway. Wednesday’s tryout will be grade 9 and 10s only, Thursday’s tryout will be 11 and 12s only.
Boys Baseball
Just a reminder to all those interested in trying out for this year's Boys baseball team, today is the final day to sign up. The sign up sheet is posted outside the gym office. The first tryout will be held today after school on Field C&D. Please contact Mr. Habjan if you have any questions.
Golf Team
Just a reminder of the tryout informational meeting in gym AB at the start of lunch today. It is a quick turn around as registration for Monday’s full day tryout is due by 3pm tomorrow (Friday Sept 11).
Terry Fox
Tomorrow is the day for the big reveal on our Terry Fox Walkathon taking place next Friday Sept 18th. Find your walking partners for the full day event which takes place on our new track.

Tennis
Yes, the sign-up sheet is in the gym office hallway. First senior tryout is today with Coach Zelic at Linlake Park, 3 to 4:30. Be sure to complete your participation-to-play form for tennis on School Cash Online. Next senior practice will be tomorrow. Junior tryouts start next week
HOSA
Are you interested in exploring career options within the medical field, competing in exciting medicine-related events, and meeting students from all across Ontario with similar interests? If so, come to room 133 at lunch today, September 10th to learn more about Eden's HOSA club. All grades are welcome and encouraged to attend!"
Attention grade 9’s
A lock must be on your locker by end of school on Monday. Those without a lock will be contacted by the office to put your lock on.
