Cafeteria
Welcome back everyone! Our cafeteria is open daily from 8am-12:05pm. Watch for daily specials, new snacks and promotions. Today’s feature will be butter chicken on basmati rice and tomorrow will be cheese tortellini!
SLC Updates-The First 25
We’re kicking off a new series called, “Therefore.” It’s a practical look at how we are called to live as Christians. We meet at 8:15am in the chapel located in the cafeteria, so bring some friends and check it out!

Volunteer Opportunity
Are you free this upcoming Saturday and looking to earn volunteer hours? Eden’s Rankin Run Bottle Drive needs volunteers for this Saturday at two Beer Store locations. If you are interested in helping raise money for cancer patients in Niagara, come to guidance to sign-up.
All Grade Nine Students
All lockers must be locked by Tuesday morning, September 15. If you need a lock, we sell them in the main office for $6.
Math Homework Help
Math homework help is available today after school in Room 209. All grades are welcome. We are here to help! See you there.
Terry Fox Walkathon
Friday is our Eden Terry Fox walkathon. More information will be provided at the grade assemblies today and tomorrow. Those wanting to participate in this worthy cause should sign up on School Cash Online today and start their fundraising. Let's “Finish it” Flyers!

School Production - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Hi there - Ms. Straitton here with an announcement about this year’s dramatic production!
As you may have heard, this year is a big year - we are doing a major school production - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! It is a dark comedy about the classic tale of The Headless Horseman.
-We will be having auditions for onstage roles at the beginning of October, and information will be posted on the drama room door at the end of September about the roles available.
-However, since we are hoping to provide a unique, immersive experience, we are starting our crew call next week! We are looking for people who want to help with the following: -Stage Management-Stage Crew-Set Construction-Set Design and Painting-Special Effects-Digital Media-Poster and Program Design-Sound Design-Lighting Design-Costuming-Hair and Makeup
We are looking for student leaders to head up each department, as well as those who will work as crew. The open call will be on Thursday, September 24th after school in the drama room. Key information about the play and crew roles will be provided there. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms. Straitton. Please bring a pen or pencil! All are welcome.
Golf Team
If you are participating in the golf team tryout today, you should be in the front foyer at this time.
Swimming
Attention all swimmers! Important information meeting tomorrow at lunch in Mr.White’s room 236.
Cross Country
Our first practice is TODAY after school. Meet at the Track at 3:00! Make sure to be wearing appropriate footwear and bring water! We run, rain or shine! Let Mrs. Kostesky know if you have any questions.
Tennis Team
Junior tryouts will take place this Monday and Tuesday at Linlake park, led by Mr. Stickney. Senior practices will be this Wednesday and Thursday, led by Mr. Zelic. If you have any inquiries about tennis and the fast-approaching Zone championships in Welland, please see Mr. Zelic, Mr. Stickney or Mr. Krall. See you on the courts!
Field Hockey
All girls interested in field hockey need to check their email for information on Monday and Tuesdays tryouts, and Thursdays tournament! See Miss Morrison in room 121 if you have questions.
Girls Flag Football
Girls Flag Football tryouts will be this week outside on the turf field during lunch. Please complete the sign-up form in the phys ed hallway. Wednesday’s tryout will be grade 9 and 10s, Thursday’s tryout will be 11 and 12s.
Grade assemblies will be called down at the appropriate times. Listen for further instructions.
