Community Concert Opportunity
Calling all musicians and singers eager to perform: There is a community concert taking place in St. Catharines on Sunday, November 15th. For more information on this performance opportunity, please see Madame McKean in Room 110.
DECA
Attention all returning DECA members! If you signed up for an event in June at the Ice Cream Social in the courtyard, there will be a mandatory meeting this Friday at lunch in Ms E’s Room - 207. We’ll go over the next steps to secure your spot in this year’s DECA competition in November. See you there!
YEARBOOK CLUB:

Chess Club

Robotics Club!
Hey Eden, the robotics club is back in session! Come down if you’re interested in robotics and building your skills. All new members are welcome and the first meeting will happen on Tuesday after school in room 148. Any questions talk to Mr. Vanderkooy, see you then!
Cross Country
Attention all cross country athletes, if you cannot attend next week’s invitational or need a ride, please let Mr. Bayne or Mrs. Kostesky know ASAP so we can make arrangements!
Girls Flag Football
Reminder, there is no girls Flag Football today at lunch. Final tryout will be Wednesday, September 30th from 3-4pm. Please keep an eye on your email for further updates. If you have any questions, please contact Miss Houston or Miss Van Wely.
Tennis
Mr. Zelic, Mr. Stickney and Mr. Krall would like to congratulate the Eden Tennis Team on an outstanding performance at Zones! Congrats to Austin Moolman and Tatiana Rivett, who recaptured the Mixed Doubles Zone Championship and were undefeated. Also advancing as Zone Finalists earning second place are Lucas Gong in Boys Singles, Evan McArthur and Ethan Dyck in Boys Doubles, and Riham Bakhit and Daisy Dong in Girls Doubles. Vaeda Ankersmit, our Open Girls Singles entry, has advanced automatically to SOSSA due to a lack of Zone competitors in her highly competitive category. We look forward to seeing her represent the Flyers!
That’s one Zone Championship, three Zone Finalist finishes, and every Eden senior player moving on to SOSSA on October 7th! Senior practices will resume next Wednesday and Thursday at Linlake park. Seniors are also encouraged to attend the Junior practices on Monday and Tuesday for additional training!
The yearbooks are coming!
Flyers we will be handing out last years yearbook during period 4 today! If you have a spare, co-op or online class during period 4 you can come to the front foyer towards the end of period 4 to collect your book. If you are not going to be in your period 4 class your teacher will have the book waiting for you in period 4 next week. If you are looking to purchase a book we will not know until next week if there are any available to purchase. There will be a new announcement if this is an option.
