SLC Updates--The First 25
We’re wrapping up our “Therefore” series tomorrow so don’t miss it! We meet at 8:15 am in the chapel which is located in the cafeteria!
Life Groups

Guidance
If you are in Grade 11 and interested in learning more about Eden’s 6 Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, please come to the drama room at lunch on Thursday Sept 15 for a short info session and opportunity to sign-up.
Attention all Grade 12s - Please swing by the guidance bulletin board or the guidance office to scan the QR codes to sign-up for the upcoming post-secondary presentations.
Volunteer Opportunity
The Rankin Cancer Bottle Drive fundraiser is happening this Saturday - Sept 19 and we need volunteers from 10am to 3pm. If you are available in the morning or afternoon, and want to earn some community service hours, come to guidance to sign-up!
Grade 9 Students and Lockers
All lockers MUST be locked by Thursday, September 17 or they will be locked up by the school.
Attention ALL Students
All students must lock up their lockers by Friday, September 18, 2026. If you need a lock, come to the main office. We have locks for $6.00 for you to purchase.
Terry Fox Walkathon
Just a reminder that participant registration is due tomorrow by 3pm for our inaugural full day walkathon on the Eden track this Friday! Be a part of a great day for such a worthy cause. Let’s “Finish it” together Flyers!
School Production- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Attention all students who want to be a part of this year’s amazing Drama Production - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. We are looking for people who want to help with the following: -Stage Management-Stage Crew-Set Construction-Set Design and Painting-Special Effects-Digital Media-Poster and Program Design-Sound Design-Lighting Design-Costuming-Hair and Makeup. We are looking for student leaders to head up each department, as well as those who will work as crew.
The open call will be next week on Thursday, September 24th after school in the drama room. Key information about the play and crew roles will be provided there. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms. Straitton. Please bring a pen or pencil! All are welcome.
CHESS CLUB
Attention all Eden chess players! Today we’ll be starting our chess club for this year. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in room 235. All grades and skill levels are welcome!
HOSA
There will be an important meeting in Room 133 at lunch today for anyone interested in participating in HOSA.
EDEN WRITERS
Do you love to write, have opinions to share, or want a chance to see your work published? If you’re interested in learning more about writing opportunities like Cappies, Eden Writers, and more, come to a quick information session this Friday in Room 226 at lunch. No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and your ideas. We hope to see you there!
Black Students Association
The Black Student Association will meet on Wednesdays at lunch in Rm 112. Our first meeting will be tomorrow! We encourage all students who identify as Black to come and check it out. It is a great opportunity to meet other students, play games and plan activities.
Jr. Boys Volleyball
Tryouts for Grade 10s are after school at 3:00 in gym C. Grade nines that made the first cut should be there as well.
SWIMMING
Attention all swimmers! Important information meeting TODAY at lunch in Mr.White’s room 236.
Girls Flag Football
Girls Flag Football tryouts will be this week outside on the turf field during lunch. Please complete the sign-up form in the phys ed hallway. Wednesday’s tryout will be grade 9 and 10s only, Thursday’s tryout will be 11 and 12s only.
Cheerleading Tryouts
Cheerleading Tryouts will be this week after school. Our first tryout will be held on the tack today after school from 3-4:30pm. Please make sure the tryout form has been completed on School Cash online.
Golf Team
Thanks to those students who participated in yesterday’s golf tryout. Please check you school email today for a message from the coaches.
Game Day Crew
If you would like to volunteer for our home volleyball, basketball, and football games, please visit the Eden School Website, click Athletics, and find Game Day Crew Sign-up. Games start next week! If you have any questions, please ask a PE teacher.

Grade 11’s will be called down during period 1. Grade 12’s will be during period 2. Please listen for the call to come down to the gym.
