Cafeteria
Today’s feature is gourmet grilled cheese with your choice of fries, veggie sticks or salad. Tomorrow is Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese. Just a reminder that we are open from 8am-12:05pm every day.
Terry Fox Walkathon
The response for the walkathon has been nothing short of amazing. Thanks so much to the 225 participants who have currently fundraised over $3800 and it is continuing to grow. Please make sure that you dress appropriately for the weather tomorrow and are on the bleachers by 8:10am with all of your stuff for the day as you will not be permitted back into the building except for the washroom. Looking forward to a great day together walking for such a worthy cause. Keep up the great work Flyers!
FRENCH CLUB
Bonjour, Flyers! The student-led French Club here at Eden meets tomorrow in Room 110, at lunch. Come out and meet new people of all grade levels who are interested in improving their French speaking beyond the classroom. À demain, and we look forward to seeing you!
GSA Meeting
There will be a GSA meeting today at lunch in Rm 160. GSA stands for Gay Straight Alliance. This is a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ students and allies to hang out, support each other, and plan fun events. Bring your lunch, meet new friends, and share your ideas for upcoming activities and awareness days. Everyone is welcome!
Chess Club

Do you love to write, have opinions to share, or want a chance to see your work published? If you’re interested in learning more about writing opportunities like Cappies, The Flyer, and more, come to a quick information session this Friday in Room 226 at lunch. No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and your ideas. We hope to see you there!
Game Day Crew
If you would like to volunteer for our home volleyball, basketball, and football games, please visit the Eden School Website, click Athletics, and find Game Day Crew Sign-up. Games start next week! If you have any questions, please ask a PE teacher.
Swim
Remember to come drop your forms off to Mrs.Barrett in Rm 113 in order to swim. No one is allowed in the pool without completed forms!
Girls Flag Football
Reminder grade 11 and 12s Girls Flag Football tryout is today at lunch outside on the turf field.
Cheerleading Tryouts
Cheerleading Tryouts will continue today after school at Tigers Athletics from 3:15-5pm. Please make sure the tryout form has been completed on School Cash online. See you there!
Boys Baseball
Just a reminder to all those interested in playing on the Eden Boys baseball team this year that the final tryout will be held on field C&D today after school.

School Production- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Attention all students who want to be a part of this year’s amazing Drama Production - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. We are looking for people who want to help with the following:-Stage Management-Stage Crew-Set Construction-Set Design and Painting-Special Effects-Digital Media-Poster and Program Design-Sound Design-Lighting Design-Costuming-Hair and Makeup
We are looking for student leaders to head up each department, as well as those who will work as crew. The open call will be next week on Thursday, September 24th after school in the drama room. Key information about the play and crew roles will be provided there. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms. Straitton. Please bring a pen or pencil! All are welcome.

There is practice at Linlake park today, weather permitting. The Zone championships are next Thursday in Welland. See you on the courts!
