Kindness Week
Today we are focused on kindness within our community. You can be kind without community by volunteering your time, shoveling a neighbour’s driveway, raising money for a local organization or charity and saying thank you to those that have provided assistance. 

Multi Faith Prayer room
This is a reminder that our Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open and available to all students who wish to use it respectfully during the school day.  Today, we will be praying Dhuhr ( th-u-hr) together at 12:30 PM in the Prayer Room. Students who are attending will be excused for approximately 10 minutes to complete their prayer. Please make sure to go directly to the Prayer Room and return promptly to class afterward. jummah: Jummah prayer in room 154 today at lunch.

Vaccine Clinic
Reminder that today is the school vaccination clinic. It starts at 9:00 am in gym C. Can’t make it? Check out the “if the student still needs a vaccine” drop down on the Niagara Region Public Health website.

Wrestling
Yesterday the Eden wrestling team competed at SOSSA at Blessed Trinity. All wrestlers had AMAZING bouts and left it all on the mats! Shout out to Albert, Grayson, Liam, Blake, and Josh for their grit, hard work, and determination. After almost missing one of his matches, Rhys placed 4th in his bracket! In the finals, Sam Uttley was in a three way tie, forcing a technical review, resulting in Sam finishing in 3rd place! Taking home gold medals and moving on to OFSAA is Bella Stradwick, Sapphire Langendoen, and Oriana Hazlett!! Congratulations to all wrestlers!!

Girls Hockey
Congrats to the girls hockey team on a big 2 - 0 win over Simcoe yesterday!  Kiera Guite was one shot short of the hat trick and was solid on D!
