Flyerfest Rankin Cancer Fundraiser
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 26th, because Flyerfest is back! It’s going to be an incredible day of school spirit, food trucks, games, and inflatables. But Flyerfest is also our biggest fundraiser of the year for the Rankin Cancer Foundation.
Our school goal this year is $10,000, and we need everyone’s help to get there. We are asking every student to donate just $10. If we all pitch in, we crush our goal! Plus, the Period 1 class that raises the most money wins a donut party! Get those donations in via School Cash Online, or grab a pledge form from Guidance today!
Flyerfest Permission to Participate
Reminder to all students: Please make sure your caregiver signs the Eden FlyerFest permission form on School Cash Online before noon on Monday May 25th in order to participate in FlyerFest on Tuesday, May 26th during Periods 3 and 4.
FlyerFest is part of the Rankin Cancer Fundraiser and will include outdoor games, activities, inflatables, food trucks, and grade colour competitions!
Grade colours are:
Grade 9 – Green
Grade 10 – Blue
Grade 11 – Purple
Grade 12 – Pink
Wear your grade colour, paint your face, and bring your school spirit!
Music@Noon Concert Series
Hey Flyers, do you love music? Do you like sharing your love for music by performing for others? If so, sign-up using the QR code that is posted outside Mr. Stickney’s music room. We are looking for singers, instrumentalists, solo acts, small combos, or bands to perform in the courtyard at lunch the week of June 1st. Today is the last day to sign-up. Prom
Step into a night of magic, music, and memories at this year’s Enchanted Garden Prom on June 11th! Don’t forget to purchase your prom tickets on School Cash Online before the deadline! Boys Soccer
Congratulations to the senior boys soccer team on their 6-3 playoff win over West Niagara yesterday. Leading the way with goals were Rowan, Anthony, Abdul, and Isaac. The boys now move on to the zone final against Sir Winston on Monday.
Track & Field
Your Eden track & field team had an outstanding couple days at SOSSA finishing with the 5th overall team score. Andrew Bayne, Victor Lee, Ronin Wiens, Vaeda Ankersmit, and Jessica Zhakova are SOSSA champions in their individual events! Also advancing in their individual events are Jacob Bayne, Shaunessey Burrows, Oriana Hazlett, Kaylee Power, Esti Maltman, Kade VanBerkel, Drew Ankersmit, Alivia Nickason, Ophelia Xie, and Franklin Kang. 4 of our relay teams also advanced for a total of 30 athletes heading to the OFSAA South Regional championships next week!
Wellness Fair
Today is the day! Our Wellness Fair is happening during lunch in the foyer. We are excited to welcome all the awesome community partners and organizations.
Come pick up your passports from the school nurses table, and take some time to visit the booths, ask questions, and explore the many resources available to you. Don’t forget — students who participate will be entered into a raffle draw for a special prize! We hope everyone enjoys the Wellness Fair today!
