SLC Updates--The First 25
Join us tomorrow for “Super Friday!” We’ll be hosting stage games and fun opportunities to win prizes. Bring some friends and join us at 8:15am in the chapel located in the cafeteria.
Life Groups
Sr. Boys Foundry will be meeting at lunch in the SLC. We’re continuing our series on the Book of Daniel so bring your lunch and some friends!
DRAMA - CAPPIES
On Tuesday night, the cast and crew of Buzzwords attended the Cappies Gala. Although we didn’t walk away with any awards, we received many nominations and made the audience laugh once last time. Congratulations goes out to Chelsea Brooks, Preston Hines, Steph Dragoi, Malin Srochenski, Myke Malmstrom, Isabella Smith, and the Eden Media Team for their well-deserved nominations. That’s a wrap on “The Bee” for this year!
IDEAS
"DSBN Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance of Students (IDEAS) is a leadership opportunity to make positive changes and address social justice issues in schools and across the DSBN.

Latino Club
There will be no Latino Club meeting today at lunch. Take this time to recharge your energy, and we hope to see everyone back next week for our next meeting!
Wellness Fair
Just a reminder that our Wellness Fair is happening tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd, in the school foyer during lunch! Community partners and wellness organizations will be here to share information and resources for student health and well-being.
Passports will be available to pick up from the school nurse, to be stamped by each community partner after learning and connecting with them about their resources. Every student who participates will be entered into a raffle draw for a special prize! We look forward to seeing everyone at the Wellness Fair tomorrow!
Music@Noon Concert Series
Hey Flyers, do you love music? Do you like sharing your love for music by performing for others? If so, sign-up using the QR code that is posted outside Mr. Stickney’s music room. We are looking for singers, instrumentalists, solo acts, small combos, or bands to perform in the courtyard at lunch the week of June 1st. See Mr. Stickney for more information.
Student Council Elections
Keep a close eye on the Eden Flyers Instagram account! This week, Student Council candidates will be sharing why they’re the perfect choice for next year’s council. Each day will feature different candidates, followed by a classroom vote to choose your favourite. Stay tuned, show your support, and make your vote count!
Flyerfest Rankin Cancer Fundraiser
Attention all students! The countdown to Flyerfest is officially on! Next Tuesday, May 26th is the big day, which means the clock is ticking for your Period 1 class to win that donut party! Send a text to your family right now to remind them to complete your permission form and make a donation. Donate $10 to help us reach our $10,000 goal, and let's make this Flyerfest the best one yet!
Girls Rugby
Congratulations to the girls rugby team on advancing to SOSSA next week! Tries were scored yesterday by Valentina, Vienna, and Elaina, with a conversion by Elaina. Shout-out to Meg, Vienna, and Abby on their game play and to Valentina for being our forwards MVP and Kayleigh Proctor for being our backs MVP! Next practice is tomorrow after school.
